Spellbook uses GPT-4 AI technology to analyze contract documents and offer revision suggestions. These suggestions appear in a side pane within the Microsoft Word application. Spellbook uses Word’s “track changes” feature to propose revisions and offer comments. Click through the changes and accept, modify, or reject as appropriate.

Your Request Drives the AI’s Analysis and Suggestions

Spellbook’s analysis is driven by your prompt. With an existing contact open in Word, you could prompt Spellbook to rework the contract as one that is aggressively negotiated on your client’s behalf, with special attention paid to data security. Or ask Spellbook to take an existing contract, but ask Spellbook to modify it for California state law, and replace named parties, like lessor or lessee, with the appropriate client names for the California deal.
