Additional Details about Draftwise

Draftwise advertises itself as the only AI tool that assists transactional attorneys throughout the matter lifecycle, from drafting to negotiation.

The process begins with Draftwise analyzing your firm documents, which you can store in a DMS, CRM, or even a database solution. Once completed, you have access to that learned intelligence directly from within Microsoft Word.

Speaking of document management, Draftwise offers a DMS-like search solution within its Word add-in. You could ask Draftwise to find documents written by “person A” for “Client 1” in the last year, contain provisions about “topic X”, for example.

Once you locate the needed documents, Draftwise helps compare clauses, including different versions of the same clause, refine them, and mark them for frequent use. Furthermore, documents and clauses can be curated by teams or seniority and stored in collections with context tags like “Buyer Friendly” or “Seller Friendly.”

Finally, once you complete the initial draft, the AI can review the proposed contract and identify and rectify missing or unusual provisions.

Who Draftwise is for

Draftwise is for Microsoft Word-using attorneys who frequently draft or review contracts.
