Her history and specialties include:
Amy’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Queen’s University, a Bachelor of Laws in Law from the University of Windsor, and a JD in Law from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
She spent 10 years as an associate in a large law firm, Norton Rose Fulbright, where she practiced corporate and commercial law with a focus on technology. In 2018, she founded her own small law firm, where she developed a reputation as a lawyer’s lawyer. She focused almost exclusively on legal contracts.
Amy spent time working as a freelance lawyer, getting behind the curtain with common struggles small law firms face before starting her own legal consulting business in 2019. She’s also a Clio Certified Consultant.
She volunteers coaching services through the Coach and Advisor Network for the Law Society of Ontario. She also serves as a committee member on the Strategy and Governance Committee for the Ottawa Birth and Wellness Centre.
