Things You Might Want to Know
Discounts on products. Subscription to Solo Practice University® comes with discounts on books, insurance, law practice management products, and professional services, including law practice management software and virtual receptionist services.
MOOCs. Massive open online courses, or MOOCs—like Edx or MIT OpenCourseWare, among many others—may offer classes similar to what you’re looking for with Solo Practice University®. This is particularly true for substantive legal courses or management courses. However, those courses usually are not catered to legal professionals specifically, and those courses focus more on theory than practice. Which means that if you’re looking for courses to more directly help you with your law practice, Solo Practice University® is the better option.
Founded by an attorney. Solo Practice University® was founded by attorney Susan Cartier Liebel after her experiences as an attorney and instructor at Quinnipiac University School of Law where she taught the course, How to Hang a Single Right Out of Law School. The lessons and approach she takes are guided by a practical approach to the practice of law to help you become a stellar legal entrepreneur.
