If anyone could give legal advice, would middle class people who might be able to afford an attorney use non-lawyer experts? Yes.
If we woke up tomorrow and anyone could give legal advice, how would the wealthy react? Would they react at all?
If we woke up one day and found that anyone could give legal advice, how would lawyers be effected? How would they react?
If anyone could practice law, how would law schools react? They'd have to change, fast, just to survive.
