Additional Details about LegalMation

LegalMation is the first legal-specific AI product designed to automate litigation tasks. LegalMation also says that its AI requires zero human input to generate documents, meaning no prompting of the AI.

LegalMation produces “actual work product-caliber drafts” that “only require minor editing and basic review” by an attorney before filing or serving. In order to achieve this, LegalMation’s AI “ingests” a firm’s data, so any drafts reflect “the attorney’s own style, formatting, and response strategy.” An example of this is the Complaint Response Creator, where the AI “reads” a received complaint and walks the user through point-and-click responses paragraph by paragraph. The Discovery Response Creator performs similar tasks for discovery requests. With both Creators, LegalMation can also create a fully customized solution that grounds its responses on that specific client’s historical information already stored in your system.

In addition to document automation, LegalMation’s suite of tools includes litigation analysis, where the AI reviews your firm’s historical data on billing and case results to provide insights on current matters.
