They offer four pricing plans: Self-Employed, Simple Start, Essentials, and Plus, with Plus being their most popular plan. QuickBooks Self-Employed. QuickBooks Self-Employed is designed for independent contractors. It’s the only plan that offers mileage tracking among its features. You can track your income and easily see your business’s profitability, track all expenses by taking photos of your receipts, and send invoices. You even get free ACH bank transfers. Tax season is simplified as you can sort expenses into different tax deduction categories at the touch of a button.

QuickBooks Simple Start. QuickBooks Simple Start offers everything in the Self-Employed plan–tracking income and expenses, sending invoices, maximizing tax deductions–except mileage tracking. Additionally, you’ll be able to send professional-looking estimates to prospective clients and track sales tax if that is applicable to your firm. 

QuickBooks Essentials. In addition to everything offered in the Simple Start plan, QuickBooks Essentials lets you manage all your bills and invite additional users to use the program.

QuickBooks Plus. The Quickbooks Plus plan includes everything from the Simple Start and Essential plans. Additionally, you can track time and make invoicing clients a more streamlined process. You’ll also be able to track inventory and 1099s, even though these extra features may not apply to your needs as a small firm.

Pricing

QuickBooks pricing is based on which plan you choose. The Self-Employed tier is $10/month, the Simple Start is $15/month, Essentials is $35/month and Plus is $50/month.

QuickBooks secures its data centers with 24/7 personnel and video surveillance and has backup generators to keep data available during power outages.
