LawPay is a payment processor designed with law firms in mind. The software allows you to accept credit card payments and set up recurring payments. It also integrates with popular law practice management software programs.
Trust account compliant. The ABA Code of Professional Conduct and many state bars have explicit rules for trust accounting that require lawyers to ensure client funds are not commingled. Normally that isn’t too challenging, but it can become a problem when clients pay with a credit card. Credit card processing fees need to be quarantined from the trust account activity, and LawPay conveniently separates credit card fees automatically and deposits unearned fees, retainers, or advances into your trust account.
Dashboard. The dashboard gives you a comprehensive view of your transactions and lets you run custom reports. This allows you to track your processing volume and payment trends.
Payment button. LawPay provides you with a simple code snippet that lets you put a payment button on your website and accept payments directly through your site.

Who LawPay Is For
LawPay is for attorneys that want fully-compliant trust accounting without the need for extra steps with payment processing and who don’t mind paying a bit extra for that luxury. It is most effective when paired with a law practice software management program, so potential users should make sure that LawPay supports their program and vice versa.
