Here’s what we are listening to this week.

Digital Detectives: “Obama vs. Trump on Cyber Security”

Legal Talk Network’s Digital Detectives highlights emerging issues in digital forensics, e-discovery, and information security. Last week, hosts Sharon Nelson and John Simek talked with with former law enforcement officer and high-tech crime detective Keith Lowry to talk about how President-elect Trump might alter current government cybersecurity policies.

Up and Vanished: “Cold as Alaska”

For fans of NPR’s Serial and Netflix’s Making a Murderer, Up and Vanished investigates the cold case of Tara Grinstead, a beauty queen and high school teacher from Georgia. The host, Payne Lindsey, takes a new look at old case evidence and uncovers new information.

Because this is a chronological series, you’ll want to start with episode 1 (embedded below), but there are already 10 episodes in the can and more to come.

The Story Collider: “Emily Grossman—Crying in Science”

The Story Collider, founded in 2010 by two physicists, Ben Lillie and Brian Wecht, is a podcast that focuses on personal stories about science. Earlier this month, Emily Grossman, a science broadcaster and science researcher, talked about feminism, trolls, and what happened to her after her televised debate with Milo Yiannopoulos over Nobel scientist Tim Hunt’s assertion that women in laboratories “fall in love with you and when you criticise them, they cry.”
