Zoho CRM is a cloud-based, highly-customizable lead and contact management software with powerful sales pipeline and workflow automation features.

Zoho CRM Highlights

Zia Voice. Zia Voice is Zoho’s conversational AI assistant, like Alexa or Siri but for your CRM and sales needs. You can chat with Zia by calling her or clicking the “Ask Zia” button at the bottom of your screen in the Zoho interface.

Highly customizable. Zoho comes with a standard user interface and standard forms, fields, and features. But Zoho prides itself on being almost infinitely customizable, encouraging you to edit, add, and remove modules so it form-fit your company’s needs. Before you make any drastic changes to your software, you can experiment with your customizations in a “sandbox environment,” helping you keep your interface clean and adding sweet new updates and customizations only when you’re ready.

Zoho business products. In addition to Zoho CRM, Zoho also offers finance, IT management, office suite, email, and human resources products that all integrate with one another. If you’re new to the software scene for your law practice, or if you’re willing to reimagine your entire technology stack, Zoho offers bundles so you can manage your firm’s business software with a single company in a relatively frictionless environment.

Zoho CRM Pricing

Annual pricing for Zoho CRM’s Standard package starts at $12/user/month billed annually and jumps to $18/user/month if you want to pay monthly. The standard package includes sales forecasting, scoring rules, charts and KPIs, a document library, roles and profiles, call center connectors, webforms, encrypted transmissions, workflow rules, a social CRM, and custom fields.

The Professional package is $20/user/month annually (or $30/user monthly). It comes the all the Standard package features, plus email integration, Google Ads integration, and macros, among other things.

The Enterprise package clocks in at $35/user/month or $45/user if you pay monthly. Enterprise includes the Standard and Professional packages plus Zia Voice, multi-user portals, conditional fields, and encryption at rest. This is Zoho’s most popular package and is probably the best fit for most law firms.

Zoho also offers an Ultimate package at $100/user/month. It is available only on an annual plan and comes with all the bells and whistles you could ever want from a robust CRM software.

Notably, Zoho offers a free version for firms with 3 users or fewer. This stripped-down version gives you just the bare essentials of what you’d need from a CRM, but offers you a chance to dig in and get comfortable with it on a conceptual level.

Things You Might Want To Know

Integrations. Zoho integrates with Microsoft Outlook, MailChimp, QuickBooks, Constant Contact, and Google Apps. It also integrates with OneSaaS, and has an entire marketplace of free and paid integrations on the website. It also offers an open API, which lets you—probably with a developer’s help—integrate any software you choose with your new Zoho CRM.

Workflow automation. Zoho offers workflow and pipeline automation and macros to help you finish data entry and other repetitive administrative tasks more quickly.

Mobile. If you need to access your CRM account on the go (and you do, of course), Zoho makes it easy with Android and iOS apps that offer most of the same functionality as the website application. The mobile apps also automatically create contacts when you scan a business card or QR code, which is pretty slick.

Social media. Zoho connects your contacts with their social media accounts and can follow their accounts and analyze their behavior on social, which can be a really powerful way for you to engage with them before, during, and after your representation.

Who Zoho CRM Is For

Zoho is easy to use, fully customizable, and makes your life easier with sales and marketing tools and workflow automation. Lots of its features are built for sales and marketing professionals (especially those with inventory) and not necessarily lawyers. But it is powerful and beautiful software that offers a free trial and a free version for three or fewer users, so it may be worth a try to see if it is the right CRM for you.
