Contactually is a cloud-based CRM that began as a tool for real estate professionals. Still, lawyers can put it to great use because of its many powerful tools. You can create and import contacts, develop project pipelines, and make automated workflows to share with your team. And you can set reminders to help you remember to reach out to your clients and contacts frequently so they know you’re thinking about them.
Buckets and reminders. After importing your contacts to Contactually, you’ll segment them into “buckets” to better manage and communicate with them. You can set how frequently you’ll reach out to those contacts and Contactually will remind you to stay in touch. Its other
Template library. Contactually has a library of “market-proven” email and text templates to send to you buckets (or individual contacts). They’re fully-customizable templates that let you add some flair and personality to your messages.
Automation and teamwork. You’ll set up automated workflows to make your own work more efficient, and then you can share those workflows with your team members in Contactually. You can also share contacts and kanban-style pipeline boards to help your team stay organized and visualize, at-a-glance, the status of all your various projects.
Pricing starts at $69/month for its Professional plan. This gets you onboarding and product training, deal management workflows, a library of email and text templates, mobile apps, and contact relationship insights, among other things.
For $119/month, the Accelerator plan offers all the Professional features plus lead-nurturing content and upgraded customer support.
For those needing more robust options, Contactually recommends its Concierge plan. Concierge users will enjoy all the features of the other plans plus several additional high-level features to better manage and engage with current and future clients.
If you’re not sure which plan is right for you, Contactually offers a 2-week free trial (with no credit card required) so you can get a feel for whether its CRM is a good fit for your business.

Things You Might Want To Know
Importing contacts. As with any CRM, creating, updating, and maintaining your contacts is critical. You can import your contacts from Google, Office, Outlook, Mail, Yahoo, and an Excel spreadsheet. And once you’ve imported and synced your mail and contacts, Contactually automatically syncs all information, including communication, so you can track all of your interactions.
Security. Contactually uses 256-bit SSL/TLS 1.0 encryption and regularly updates the core system with the latest security fixes using best practices. They back up your data in real time and securely host and store it in AWS data centers with 24/7/365 monitoring, strict access controls, and on-site security. If you’re nervous about having your CRM store messages on a separate server, fear not. Contactually doesn’t actually store any message content. Instead, it grabs your messages directly from the server. These precautions offer great security, of course, but they also require you to sync and connect your accounts with the software. Which is something you should be doing anyway, because a CRM is so much more powerful when you do.
Integrations and API. Contactually boasts plenty of integrations, including Zapier and HubSpot (and Homes, Realtor, and Zillow + Trulia, for you real estate folks out there), among others. If it doesn’t offer an integration you need, the open API means you can work with a developer to integrate any software you’d like.
