In this episode we skip the introductory banter in order to get straight to the conversation with John Suh, CEO of the legal-industry bogeyman, LegalZoom. Not only would Suh like to change that, he’s got a strong argument for why lawyers should learn to love his company.
Ceo John Suh on Why Lawyers Should Love LegalZoom
Our conversation with LegalZoom CEO John CEO ranged from the nuts and bolts of how LegalZoom builds documents to the role it plays in access to justice, its emphasis on Net Promoter Score, 10,000 hours of law practice, and regulation, including LegalZoom’s brushes with various states’ ethics boards. But perhaps most significantly, we talked about the ways LegalZoom partners with lawyers to deliver legal services more effectively than LegalZoom or lawyers could do alone.
Stay tuned after the interview ends — we actually keep talking, on the record, about why lawyers should stop treating LegalZoom like the bogeyman.
