Will Lawyers Pay to Avoid Turning in Timesheets?

At Above the Law, David Lat reports on a new timesheet policy at Steptoe & Johnson:

Starting with the week of July 13th, secretaries will be eligible to receive a weekly bonus of $25 if all of the lawyers to whom they are assigned have all of their time entered for the previous week by close of business on the second business day of the week.

We’re hoping Lat follows this story and reports back with the number of lawyers who just offer their secretaries $26/week to go away.

    This is just not a good topic for a podcast imo. Way better to publish something in writing with illustrations. I tried to follow along looking for examples in word, but quickly got lost. Sure, that means I’m an idiot, but that makes me the target audience.
