Stuck in a rut trying to grow your law practice? Try a couple of these tips and reap the benefits.
- Volunteer. Give some of your time to a worthwhile cause. It will make you feel good, it will help someone, and you never know who you will meet. Doing something good for someone else can reignite your passion and set you on the path to success.
- Do not be afraid to say no. That case that just does not interest you, but seems like a nice payday? That client that seems like more trouble than they are worth? Just say no. Trust your gut and stick with it. Saying yes to everything means you might say to something right up your alley.
- Write. Start a blog. Write an article for your practice area’s monthly newsletter. Try submitting a law review article. Writing is change of pace that can get your wheels turning and get your name out there.
