I am excited to join Lawyerist as a blogger with a young, fresh take on how law students, legal institutions, and young associates can use new technology and professional networking tools like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
I’m currently a 3L at Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, and will be moving back to my home state of Minnesota after graduating in May to study for the Minnesota Bar Examination, and then to practice in the Minneapolis law firm of Maslon, Edelman, Borman & Brand.
While in law school I worked for the federal courts, the Department of Justice, the American Civil Liberties Union, and the Maslon law firm. In 2008 I began consulting with individuals, academic institutions, and community, political, cultural and religious organizations regarding their use of LinkedIn and Facebook. My current and former clients include Northeastern University School of Law; the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas; and Minnesota Gubernatorial Candidate Mark Dayton.
You can find me on LinkedIn, or you can contact me by email with any questions, comments or insights. I look forward to hearing from you.
