Lawyerist LAB, Now Vanilla-Flavored

by Lawyerist LAB on January 21, 2013 in General

The Lawyerist LAB has just gotten a major upgrade. It is now powered by Vanilla Forums, which should substantially improve the user experience and keep our community growing. Here are some of the new features:

  • A fast mobile version.
  • Optional social network integration (Google, Twitter, and Facebook).
  • Respond to people with @username, just like on Twitter.
  • User walls. You can post short messages to other users’ profiles, just like Facebook. (And because Vanilla has excellent spam filters, this shouldn’t be able to be misused.)

There’s much more, though. All in all, we think it’s a much nicer way to engage with the LAB, and we think you will like it, too!

For existing users, all your information has been carried over. You can sign in with your existing email address and password. New users can create an account on Vanilla or sign in with a Google, Twitter, Facebook, or OpenID account.

We hope you enjoy the new forum!

Hi there… not sure I should contact.. but I tried to register for the lab, and it keeps stating I am denied. or invalid request. I have also attempted to reset my password, and I still can’t login.

Please let me know if there is something else I need to do. Thanks.

I’m guessing you didn’t click the verification link in the email you were sent, but whatever happened, I’ve just reset your password. You should receive it in a moment.

My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of
the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using
WordPress on a variety of websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform.
I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.
net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it?
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!
