Happy Earth Day: cut down on printer waste with GreenPrint

greenprint111 Happy Earth Day: cut down on printer waste with GreenPrintIn honor of Earth Day, GreenPrint is a simple piece of software you might want to check out. GreenPrint reduces printer waste, saving time, energy, and trees.

GreenPrint’s patent-pending technology does this by analyzing each page of every document sent to the printer and looking for typical waste characteristics (like that last page with just a URL, banner ad, logo, or legal jargon).

GreenPrint also incorporates an easy to use PDF writer, a fantastic print preview called GreenView, and a reporting feature which keeps track of the number of pages and the amount of money you have saved.

GreenPrint has a free basic version for Windows and paid premium and Mac versions.

Should lawyers want to eliminate legal jargon from their printing? This is a bit snarky, however this is a site catering to lawyers. Yes, I know what they meant.

John,

I am happy to go on record saying there is virtually zero value in printing out the long disclaimer footers that lots of attorneys insert in their email signatures.
