Document Generation and a New Column in Need of a Name

by Lawyerist LAB on February 1, 2012 in General

It turns out we have some hackers in the LAB! A couple of days ago, Duncan McQueen asked for a web-based document assembly/generation solution that his staff and clients could use to complete documents. And he’s not the only one. Dan Sherman created his own Word macro for document generation, and Duncan actually rigged up his own web-based solution. If you have a solution, stop in and share it.

Also, Josh Camson is looking for a name for his new Lawyerist column about starting a law firm. If you’ve got an idea for an epic name, let us know!

We have a document generation tool that you or your clients could use via your webbrowser to complete documents. Our solution also allows you to choose the specific output format and whether you’d like to archive the document, print it or e-mail it.
We have developped this software (called Scriptura) in-house, have been in business for 17 years, are based in Belgium and have customers all over Europe, US, Canada and Australia.
Last year we implemented a very similar project for a law firm in Chigaco and we have a service partner for North-America.
Check out our website or contact me for more information.
