Aaron Street is the Publisher of Lawyerist Media, LLC, a leading internet site on legal marketing, practice management, and technology.

Aaron’s prior work includes private practice as an election lawyer, strategy consulting for WestLaw and FindLaw, working as a professional law firm admissions consultant, and serving as Executive Director of a legal think tank. He has assisted in creating legal blogs for Dorsey & Whitney and the University of Minnesota Law School.

Aaron earned his B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, in political science and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota. While in college, Aaron had the opportunity to intern in the United States Senate, the Office of Governor Jesse Ventura, and the White House. During law school, he served on the University of Minnesota Law School’s admissions committee.

Aaron currently serves as the Advisory Board Chair of the Institute for Law and Politics at the University of Minnesota – a national research institute on issues of political science and the law.

He also serves on the Minneapolis Charter Commission, the Board of YMCA Youth in Government, the Advisory Board of FairVote Minnesota, and the Board of the Minneapolis FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association. He has held numerous leadership roles in local, state, and federal election campaigns.

Aaron is an avid fan of the UFC, the Minnesota Twins, and the University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Basketball team. He and his wife, Nena Street, live in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood of Minneapolis, MN.
